Yummm I’ve started on the Young and Raw 30 day green smoothie challenge. I’m day 9 into it so far. This is my favorite recipe in the challenge so far.
1 frozen banana
1 lime (peeled and de-seeded)
1/2 lemon (juice only)
2-3 oranges (depending on size, juice only)
2 handfuls of kale, spinach or other greens
Optional:
1 tsp Spirulina
1 tsp flax or ground chia seeds
1 packet ginsing
Blend
Juice the lemon and oranges and pour juice in a blender. Add the greens and blend until all the green chunks are gone. Add the peeled lime and frozen banana, and blend until smooth.
